With all of President Trump’s bluster, bombast and the occasional exaggeration the power of his business skill and aggressive personality are already paying dividends even before he has taken office. It remains to be seen how much of what he has promised and decided to do can actually be done given the subversion of malicious President Biden bent on stymieing Trump’s agenda and the exceedingly slim Republican majority in the House of Representatives. But even so, there is progress so far.
Just consider these pre-inauguration Trump accomplishments:
- His threatened tariff policies have already caused Mexico to disperse caravans of undocumented aliens intending to invade the porous Biden border.1
- The tariff threat for Canada has led to the resignation of the corrupt incompetent and decidedly anti-Trump Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.1 Trudeau has been an ultra-liberal socialist on our northern border. Trump’s a hero in the eyes of many Canadians.
- His promise to buy Greenland for US security reasons have recently brought the Danish government (Greenland’s present owners) to reluctantly agree to look at how the US might increase its presence in the very large island that offers very early warning system location to negate any missile attack by Russia, China or North Korea.1
- The news of a ceasefire and hostage release in the Israeli-Hamas war brought accolades for the Biden administration from the mainstream media.1 But it wasn’t long until the news also broke that the Biden administration ceasefire talks that have gotten nowhere got a boost to the finish line when President Trump threatened Hamas and his Mideast envoy, Steve Witkoff, got involved.2
The Trump effect can also be seen in several other areas of policy both at home and abroad but the four areas above illustrate the power of forceful rhetoric coupled with the perception of a President that will pursue his agenda seriously and with competence. These are values that have been sadly lacking in the past four years of the Biden presidency. We will have a president without the taint of family corruption like the odor that lingers around President Biden.
We here at I Vote My Vote look with anticipation at the prospect of a government that might actually be effective for the people. A government that will reign in the out-of-control spending that has given us a national debt of over 36 Trillion dollars and means that each and every citizen owes $106,024 as a part of that debt.1 Subscribe now and join us at I Vote My Vote so that we can urge the support of the Congress for President Trump to begin to right the ship!
