Support a ceasefire in current conflicts

A yes vote would provisionally end the death and destruction attendant to acts of war and begin a reasonable diplomatic approach to solve the issues that motivate the sacrifices attendant with a resort to armed conflict.

A no vote means continuance of the armed conflict and its potential escalation to involve other entities in combative or suportive roles raising the threat of massive international involvement.

This position seeks to attain limited objectives using continuance of conflict to force a clearly stated result. Any combatant engaged in allowing noncompatant injury by use as shield or colaterally risks condemntion as war crime.
