Kamala Harris
Kamala Devi Harris (born October 20, 1964) is an American politician and attorney serving as the 49th and current Vice President of the United States since 2021, under President Joe Biden. She is the first female vice president and the highest-ranking female official in U.S. history. Harris is also the first African-American and first Asian-American to hold the vice presidency.
A member of the Democratic Party, Harris previously served as a U.S. Senator from California from 2017 to 2021 and as the Attorney General of California from 2011 to 2017. She is the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party for the 2024 presidential election.
