Influencewatch.org is a very interesting and informative website. You can learn of the political leanings and influence of many important people and powerful groups in the current US political landscape. A reader of the website can learn of prominent people from all across the political spectrum both in the political news or those who may be ‘flying under the radar.’ A reader can view the influence of organizations of all political stripes: profit or non-profit, unions, political parties, government agencies, grass-roots movements and many other types of groups.
One of the most influential people discussed on influencewatch.org is the former Hungarian, but now naturalized US citizen, George Soros. Soros became a billionaire with successful hedge funds, various financial legerdemains and, most successfully, money trading — especially trading Great Britain’s Pound Sterling. He sometimes is described as ‘left-of-center’ from a political standpoint but going by the people he has gotten elected and policies he has gotten enacted with his deep pockets, we would more accurately describe him as ‘WAAAYYYY left-of-center.’ Here are just a few examples of Soros’ recent purchases:
-
- Making the National Police Association’s ‘Wall of Shame’, George Soros provided the money to elect several activist District Attorneys. Here are some examples of DA’s Soros has financed: Alvin Bragg of New York City, Kim Foxx of Chicago, Larry Krasner of Philadelphia and George Gascon of Los Angeles. All of these have enacted policies that have destroyed law and order in their respective cities.1
- Soros’ Open Society Foundation has given tens of millions of dollars to anti-Police organizations over the past few years.2
- “…Soros’ contributions to political campaigns and causes since January 2020 to roughly half a billion dollars — at the least — most of it steered through dark money nonprofit groups and going largely toward political causes aligned with the Democratic Party.”3
- “Far-left billionaire kingmaker George Soros has funneled more than $15 million since 2016 to groups behind this month’s pro-Palestine protests, where demonstrators openly cheered Hamas militants’ craven terrorist attacks on Israel.”4
Over the past few years, Democratic Party leaders have labeled “dark money” supporters of conservative politicians and causes as terrible influences in US politics.5 These efforts to paint conservative supporters as extreme and to eliminate their efforts to support whatever and whomever they choose, in our estimation, smacks of outright hypocrisy considering these same party leaders continue to take as much money as they can from extreme leftist supporters such as George Soros.
Here at I Vote My Vote we want voters to know to whom the politicians owe their allegiance. Nowadays it seems that too many have taken large sums of money to support their candidacies and then have to ‘pay their pipers’ in policies and laws that are destroying the fabric of our United States of America. Join us here at I Vote My Vote to make sure that these sorts of politicians’ big-money supporters can be clearly seen and known!
